About Cindy
Cindy received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Nutrition degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. She also has a Master's degree in Nutrition Education from UNC-Greensboro. She began work as a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) in the clinical field at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center before moving to Wilson. Working at Wilson Medical Center as the Wellness RD inspired her to begin her own consulting business 13 years ago.
Cindy says, "My goal as I educate and coach my clients is practical nutrition for healthy living. I provide medical nutrition therapy for heart disease, diabetes and gastro-intestinal disorders. I am also a Certified LEAP Therapist and can develop immuno-calm meal plans for food sensitivities related to irritable bowel syndrome, migraines, arthritis and other auto-immune disorders. I also have additional certification in adult and adolescent weight management."
When Cindy isn't working she loves spending quality time with her husband and two boys. She is an avid runner and loves to travel, especially to her oasis at the beach.
Her passion is serving her clients. "I provide my clients with individualized goals and tools they will need to be successful in their health journey. I have a very realistic approach to my therapy sessions and want my clients to feel empowered and uplifted and not discouraged. I look forward to working with new clients and love new challenges."
